Currently, there are many methods and tools for detecting insulators, but most of them are basically qualitative detections that cannot accurately and quickly detect the insulation status of each insulator, thus failing to serve as preventive detection. The size of the insulation resistance value of high-voltage transmission line insulators is a significant issue directly related to the safe and stable operation of the lines. Once an insulator shows zero value or becomes dirty, it must be cleaned or replaced; otherwise, it could lead to flashover and tripping accidents.

Given this, our company, in combination with the requirements proposed by a wide range of users and through extensive field trials, has successfully developed a new high-performance quantitative detection and analysis instrument - the "KGJY-320 Wireless Insulator Tester". This instrument can effectively discover internal hidden faults in insulators, improve the reliability of power grid system operations, and enhance the work efficiency of line personnel during testing. The operation method is simple and fast, mainly used for accurately measuring the resistance value of each insulator during power-off conditions. It can also accurately distinguish between insulators that have leaked electricity but have not yet been punctured and are in a critical state of damage. The measurement results are recorded, stored, and displayed in real-time in data form, and it features automatic voice alarms for low-value insulators.
This product uses wireless transmission, with communication distances between the detector and handheld terminal reaching over 100 meters, making the measurement process truly safe, reliable, fast, and accurate. Additionally, the instrument possesses strong anti-interference capabilities, fully complying with (EMC) standard requirements and suitable for various electromagnetic interference environments.
